We gather for worship and work. We are tired of just coming to church – we want to see our community change! We don’t think we’re the only ones who want this. Once a month you’ll find Liberation ummm… LIBERATING! – doing some work around our community. We want you to join the movement!!!

Community Service Sunday: October 31, 2010                            

Liberation will make one Bunche Middle School community proposal a reality, as we feed the hungry in our community by serving the Jewish Children and Family Center Food Pantry. The pantry feeds $1,500 families each month. We will serve from 10:00 am -12:00pm @ 10950 Schuetz Rd. St. Louis, MO 63146.  No Service @ the RAC.

Core Class Two: Christianity 101

Sat. December 4, 9am-12pm at The U-City Library Rm #2.  The class is required for all candidates of baptism. The class will cover the essential practices in the Christian Tradition. Sign up  for the class by e-mailing liberationcc@yahoo.com

 New Years Eve and Baptism Service; Dec. 31, 2010 10:30pm 

Liberation will hold a New Years Eve Worship Service and first ever baptism service.  The worship service will be held at Compton Heights Christian Church (DOC) 2149 S. Grand Blvd. St. Louis, MO 63104.

“Love Never Fails”  Relationship Conference: Feb 5-6, 2011

Liberation will hold an inclusive relationship conference.  The conference will support singles, dating couples, married couple’s straight and same gender loving to improve themselves and their romantic relationships. The Conference will be held at the Disciples’ Rickman Center 3519 Bennett Lane Jefferson City, MO 65101.  Cost $75.00/per person includes lodging and three meals.  Contact Alice Wharton for info 314-374-0094.
